Physical Therapist (Academic Year, 9.5/12 Months; Posting for UNMC Employees Only)

The position's primary focus is provision of educationally-related physical therapy services in a school-based environment for children aged 0-21.The position is 9.5 months and corresponds to the respective districtâ??s academic calendar. Oversight of clinical education for affiliating, doctoral-level physical therapy students is required and assistance with or participation in scholarly activity including clinical research is desired. The option to provide out-patient, pediatric physical therapy services, to participate in educational, community outreach opportunities and/or research, and to provide mentoring or serve other contracts related to pediatric physical therapy is offered as caseload demands and departmental needs change.
