Description

Rec Reps are responsible for assisting with the promotion and delivery of Marshall Wellness Center programs at Iowa Western. Within an assigned residence hall, assist residents with signing up teams, understanding registration processes and timelines, and sharing program information. These programs promote physical activity and social engagement and may include activities such as intramural sports, wellness workshops, fitness programs, recreational outings, and others. Rec Reps help housing students engage with campus events and help Wellness Center staff understand the recreational and fitness needs of the Housing unit.

Job Duties

Help students be aware of, and connect to , Wellness Center programs and services
Collaboration with Wellness Center and Housing staffs, assist with the planning and execution of programs within assigned residence halls
Helps residence organize teams for intramural and recreational activities
Direct all marketing of Wellness Center materials within assigned hall
Communicate effectively with supervisor and residents
Commit to team oriented and collaborative work environment
